Love Light + Melody is a 501c3 serving vulnerable children and creating hope through the power of education. We believe every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and write their own story. And we’re dedicated to amplifying the stories of vulnerable children around the world, and bringing them hope through the power of education. Ileana’s Smile is our origin story and captures the harsh realities of the context where Love Light + Melody had its beginnings. What started as a means of documenting his own travel experiences, Corrigan’s photography and videography took on a greater purpose over time. That advocacy has inspired thousands of people to volunteer and donate. 

Ileana's Smile is truly A Film To Build A School as all proceeds from the film go directly to Ileana’s School of Hope. The school opened in 2018 and is now at capacity from 1st. – 6th grade. In 2023, the first class of sixth graders – 21 in total –  graduated. Love Light + Melody hopes to expand the school up to 12th grade to further hope and creativity in middle and high schoolers through the power of education.
